Are There Credit Card Processors Who Don't Require Credit Check

If your credit score is lower than average, do not worry. There are credit card processors who don’t require credit checks. If you do not have credit or have bad credit, some banks or account providers will analyze your application and let you know immediately if they can accept you or not.

You can ask your bank directly if you have other accounts that have favorable activities and practices. This may make it easier for you to open a merchant account even if you have bad credit.

A common practice that those who have bad credit or belong to high-risk industries do is open a merchant account overseas. Merchant accounts abroad do not usually look into credit reports. A caveat, however, is that you may have to pay higher fees.

If you have a record of bankruptcy on your credit report, some merchant accounts may still give you their approval, but with higher rates as well. Note that when you open a merchant account with bad credit, you can still work on building trust in your business afterwards.
